Carson and Sacha’s Autumn-Themed Queer Wedding at Wickham Park

Carson and Sacha’s autumn-themed Queer wedding at Wickham Park (and later, Pond House Cafe) continued the trend: Queer weddings are magic.

Every last autumnal detail of this wedding was so beautiful (check out that wedding party!), but it was the tears that got me. Carson’s look of awe as Sacha walked towards him. Their friends getting choked up, watching them get married. The way Sacha kept getting emotional throughout the reception. Carson’s mom, holding his face and pressing it with a maternal kiss. TOO MUCH. MY HEART IS ONLY SO STRONG, guys. Seriously.

It was also special to return to this beautiful spot where we did their engagement session that spring. During that shoot, I got to know them and see their unique, dry, and trusting way with each other. After that, it was especially meaningful to be a part of their public commitment to each other.
