Leila and Megan: New Jersey Shoreline Wedding

Leila and Megan were special to me from the very first conversation we had. This is a couple up to big things. Two humans who are a big part of their communities, who STAND for things in the world. People for whom commitment means something more than a promise to just each other. They display integrity, kindness, and grace in everything I’ve seen them do.

They’re also just really lovely people to hang out with. We had so much fun at their winter engagement session, and I felt immediately comfortable with them both. When their wedding plans were altered not once, not twice, but THREE times due to Covid, they stayed calm and managed to keep everyone in the loop while they allowed their dream wedding to evolve.

They wound up choosing an intimate beach ceremony in New Jersey, with a mostly-outdoor reception afterwards. Their wedding wound up being a perfect reflection of who these two people are: creative, joyful, community-oriented, and collaborative. They had so many unique DIY touches, and they managed to incorporate people in creative ways even when they couldn’t all be present.

I adored this wedding. I adore these two humans.
