With Covid throwing a wrench in so many couples’ wedding plans, Lamiya and Olivier decided to do things their own way. With families spanning multiple countries and unable to get married the way they had anticipated, they chose to do a super-intimate, socially distant micro-wedding with a few friends at a spot that has held such significance for them during their time in New Haven. I was lucky enough to be invited to tag along. We stopped to take photos at several local New Haven spots important to the couple on the Yale campus before hiking up to East Rock Park for a sunset ceremony. It was magical. Thank you both for letting me document this day–it meant the world to me!
