Katy and Heather’s Easygoing Lesbian Wedding at Elizabeth Park

Katie and Heather’s easygoing lesbian wedding at Elizabeth Park / Pond House Cafe was the culmination of a couple of very long years for this laid-back (awesome) couple. I’ve had the pleasure of becoming their friends since their engagement session, so this day was even more special for me!

They decided to have a simple, intimate morning ceremony in the gazebo at Elizabeth Park with immediate family over. Afterwards, we took family photos before heading over to the Pond House Cafe, where the rest of their guests were beginning to arrive. The food was Sunday brunch-style (always a fave), and the guests were ready to chill, talk, and dance.

As always, it’s an honor to be invited into these once-in-a-lifetime events with people I care about. Seeing them radiant with the reflected care of so many loved ones in one place fills my heart. Watching them dance, be romantic, crack each other up, and get to document these things for them to enjoy forever? Yep. Still really love this job.
