Jessica and Andrew’s Candlelit Lakeside Wedding in Eastern Connecticut

Jessica and Andrew…sigh. They waited until the end of their beautiful, ethereal backyard wedding to tell me how much Andrew normally hates being photographed and how comfortable they had both felt with me from the beginning. This sort of blew my mind, because from our first chat through their gorgeous engagement session all the way til the end of their wedding, it felt like I was photographing models who just happen to be in love!

Jess and Andrew’s story is theirs, not mine, to share, but I’ll say that there wasn’t a dry eye during toasts at their intimate wedding dinner. They have stood by each other, embroidered themselves into each other’s families, and are truly inspiring as a couple. Also, they’re fun as hell and they know how to party. Cheers to you both–so happy I get to know you.
