Elana and Sean’s Family Home Wedding in Western Massachusetts

Elana and Sean’s wedding took place on Elana’s beautiful family home in Western Massachusetts, a place that holds so many memories and meaning for her entire family. This wedding was a real tribute to their relationship and to them both as individuals. From the gorgeous florals by Forest Flower Design to the emotional speeches; from the Harry Potter themed cake to the presence of their adorable dog, this wedding was perfectly curated to reflect what matters most to these two. It didn’t hurt that they got absolutely perfect weather!

My favorite memories of this wedding come from their receiving line of sorts. Elana and Sean decided they wanted an opportunity to greet each guest individually, so part of the reception was devoted to this activity. Folks could come by and visit with them, exchange hugs, look at their rings, and have a moment of privacy with the couple. After seeing how special this was (both for them and for the photos it created), I’d love to see more people do this at their weddings. Your day can go by so fast, and despite your best efforts, it can be a challenge to spend time with every single person in attendance. This was a great way to ensure they did!
