Carson and Sacha: Wickham Park, Connecticut Queer Engagement Session

As a queer photographer, imagine my delight when another queer photographer reached out in search of an engagement and wedding photographer! Carson (he/him/his) and Sacha (she/they/theirs) were so much fun, bringing whimsy and a wonderful lack of self-importance to their session. I love having photographers for clients (they have awesome ideas and let me try fun stuff out without question). Also, these two were totally down to laugh their asses off the entire time, which is pretty much 80% of what I want people to do.

LGBTQ, trans, and non-binary engagement and portrait sessions are some of my favorites, because so often folks in these communities do not feel seen or captured in a way that’s affirming to their gender and/or sexual identities. It always feels good to capture queer love in a way that makes my clients feel seen. That’s the feeling that launched my entire business. Thanks, you two—I’m so excited for your wedding!
