Deanna and LeeShawn: Family-Centered Naugatuck, CT Wedding

Deanna and LeeShawn’s wedding…there aren’t enough words. This was a long time coming. These two have a long story together that started back in high school, and their being together is one of those rare stories that feels almost fated. I did their engagement session years ago, felt so connected with them, and planned to shoot their wedding in 2020. Like so many couples, however, their initial wedding plans were foiled by COVID. They decided to reschedule for 2021, and it was such an honor to witness this union—not just of two people, but of an entire extended family. (All of Deanna and Shawn’s kids were included in the vows. There were many tears.)

The entire day was moving, joyous, tender, funny, and after a year of quarantine, the dancefloor was POPPIN’. So. Much. Fun. I’m so honored I get to be a part of such momentous occasions in people’s lives.
