Casey and Alec Flower Bridge Engagement Session in Simsbury, Connecticut

This Drake Hill Flower Bridge engagement session in Simsbury, Connecticut was one of my favorites this year.

Casey and Alec won me over immediately in our first zoom call with their candor and warmth. Their honesty and frankness were insanely refreshing. ⁠They didn’t try to sugarcoat their relationship or their time during lockdown. Right off the bat, they shared some of their authentic selves with me, and I think that immediate dive into intimacy is what forged such a strong bond between us and led to such a beautiful collaboration. We met at the iconic Drake Hill flower bridge in Simsbury, Connecticut, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. They looked classic Connecticut, but their vibe with each other was low-key and fun, full of meaningful looks and smirks. Basically, it was easy to get great photos of them.

Beyond the photography, though, we enjoyed each other’s company. And when we got back to the parking lot at dark and I realized with horror that I had locked my keys in the trunk, they stayed with me (even as it screwed up their dinner plans) while we waited for the cops to come and get me back in.
