Tori and Phil: East Haven, CT Winter Engagement Session

Within five minutes of meeting these two on a beach in East New Haven, I understood a basic dynamic of their successful partnership. While it was clear from the start that both are incredibly kind, hard-working, and fun, I could see straight away that Phil keeps their proverbial feet planted on solid ground, while Tori makes sure life won’t ever get too serious or stagnant.

Like many a man I’ve worked with, Phil was a little uncertain about the whole being photographed thing. Luckily, I had an amazing ally in Tori, who could teach a master class on making Phil smile. Her energy was insanely infectious; she was cracking me up most of the time, and while I normally take credit for making sessions fun, I have to hand it to her: Tori’s amazing energy was at the heart of what you see in these images. That, and Phil’s understandable adoration for her.

You can’t fake the looks these two give each other. That’s the real stuff. I’m so excited to be with you two on your wedding!!
