From Intimate Apartment to the NYC Skyline

From their intimate apartment and the New York City skyline to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, these stylish urban engagement photos have it all.

Gigi and Jack invited me to their Brooklyn home for their engagement shoot. We started in their modern, artsy apartment with their two dogs photos before heading up to the roof. With the iconic New York skyline as the background, they popped a bottle of bubbly and we took advantage of the gorgeous views. There are few things more iconic than rooftop engagement photos in New York!

From there, we headed to the Brooklyn Heights promenade, where Gigi’s fabulous eighties-inspired dress and Jack’s laid-back suit gave their engagement photos a distinctly Sex and the City vibe. We had a blast. I don’t typically shoot in New York (it’s gotten too hard since becoming a mom), but on the rare occasion I do, I’m reminded what a blessing it is to live so close to the city. I can’t wait for this wedding!
